Tomcar vehicles are unique, fast and tough. From their origin as an agile and durable off-road military vehicle, they have evolved into ultra-functional, highly capable and safe machines fit for commercial, agricultural, governmental and private use in the most demanding conditions. The Tomcar has been in active development in Israel over the last 30 years. It was originally designed and built for the Israel Defense Forces, being specifically designed to fit into a Sea Knight or Chinook helicopter. The original Tomcar was developed as a two-seater model, known as the TM2. A four-seater model, known as the TM4, was added to the line up in order to carry more personnel. A utility version with a larger tray was then developed, which is known as the TM5.
Safety: Fully welded roll cage and frame.
Low seating angle for maximum occupant restraint.
Four point safety harnesses.
Aircraft grade aluminum skid plate protects the underside of the vehicle.
Engines: Gasoline 1000cc, Fuel Injected, 4 Cylinder, Liquid Cooled
Diesel 1400cc, Naturally Aspirated, 4 Cylinder, Liquid Cooled
Transmission: Automatic 'V' Belt
CTV Final drive: Double Roller Chains Encased in an Oil Bath
