The Roost: Portable Laptop Stand

The Roost is an ultra-portable device that transforms your laptop into a comfortable desktop workstation. It does this by elevating your laptop screen to the correct height to prevent you from hunching. You will feel better, have better posture, and will be able to work longer at your laptop.
Since laptop screens are attached to their keyboards, they are typically placed far below eye height which can cause your head and neck to extend forward, your back to hunch, and your arms/hands to contort to the keyboard. This posture is unsustainable and can lead to Carpal Tunnel, Cubital Tunnel ("Repetitive Strain Injuries" (RSI)) and poor posture. The Roost, designed by James Olander, solves this problem by elevating 13-inch or larger notebooks to the height of a regular desktop monitor.
